Join us in blessing the installment of our healing sanctuary at Canticle Farm! This sanctuary embraces our commitment to centering people of color - Black, Indigenous, API, immigrants, queer, and womxn - in the pursuit of shared healing and liberation. This harmonious sanctuary includes an enclosed space for healing sessions of various modalities, three medicinal herb garden beds, and a fire pit for ceremonial healing. We are cultivating a space of cultural reverence, embodied learning, and community-based healing, deeply rooted in our collective well-being.
The sanctuary integrates the following elements:
1. Medicinal Herb Garden Beds:
Three garden beds with medicinal herbs deeply rooted in cultural healing practices. Each bed is dedicated to a specific theme centered around healing and well-being. These themes include:
2. Fire Pit for Ceremonial Healing:
A central fire pit designed to honor and support ceremonial healing practices. This area is a focal point for Sacred Roots community gatherings, connecting, and engaging in traditional rituals that promote emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.
3. Ancestral Healing Modalities:
Our enclosed healing space provides individual healing sessions in various modalities, rooted in BIPOC cultural wisdom and practices. Our BIPOC practitioners are trained in various energy healing modalities, somatic practices, massage therapy, wellness coaching, acupuncture, herbal consult, astrology, and doulaship.
Sacred Roots' healing sanctuary is a sacred space that embodies cultural healing practices, community-based learning and shared wellness. Through the garden's medicinal herbs, the ceremonial fire pit, and our enclosed consultation and bodywork space, our community is reconnecting with ancestral practices, bridging the gap between generations. This sanctuary is a testament to the resilience and power of our diverse community, as we continue to reclaim our narratives, heal collectively, and celebrate our shared journey toward liberation.
